In a case like this, one thing Frank's Tire might consider, is installing Google Sidewiki in their browser, and comment on the website that was built in an attempt to discredit them. I don't think you want to drag the fight out into the streets, but they could explain how they are sorry this person feels the way they do, explain any attempts they made to rectify it, and explain how they stand by the many happy customers they have helped.

At a minimum they should install Google Sidewiki and manage their reputation by making sure this person is not commenting on his website. I wouldn't recommend it, but they can also block people from making Sidewiki comments, if I am not mistaken.

[...] Don’t fall for domain transfer scams! Be aware that some shameless registrars attempt to trick customers by emailing and mailing out “renewal notices” or “invoices” to customers of other domain registrars when their domains are about to expire in hopes that people will think they are renewing their domain with their current registrar, when in fact they are transferring their domain to the new registrar. This is known as Domain Slamming.
I just wanted to say I am glad someone is taking action on this. I was appalled when I saw the negative blog listed. It did not match the same kind man who just fought (yes fought!) tooth and nail with an insurance company to have my car repaired and who, spent HOURS doing so. he also has caught previous damage to my car from another incompetent company who took me for a ride. In my opinion there are not enough people like frank in this world ! I hope you take that disgruntled employee DOWN!
But also tell Frank for the few negative comments listed, there are HUNDREDS of letters in his place of business and reviews that say otherwise.

This is the Paragraph I would like to enter in the free web site contest :

"I am a tree climber and arborist by profession. I have created a web site with the free tools that came with my computer. It's a nice site, with lots of visual impact, but virtually no search engine ranking. I'm ready to go to the next level. After I was given a demonstration of how Higher Images can give me a web presence and video can be added to my site I know it will double my business."

I talked to you earlier today. You looked at our site and said it needs some work. This would be the perfect oppurtunity for us to start to change our site. The marketing you could us with would be incredible

I have wanted my own business most of my adult life. I do silk/dried floral designs and want to grow my small home business. I do not have a site now and I think this would give my business the boost to hopefully go full time down the line. I turn 54 in a week and the dream is still as clear today as it was 30 years ago. I don't I will ever be too old to dream the dream. Thank you for your consideration.
